FAVOURITE SONGS


  1. playground- robert francis (2009), before nightfall
    -robert francis has a very soft and beautiful voice. In this song he sings about the relationship between him and a girl and which roles each one of them played in it.
  2. wax and wire- lord lomond(2009), night bats
    -lord lomond wrote this song about death and the desire of bringing back a loved one in a really beautiful way. It sends you into a really weird dream world and it takes a while to actually appreciate this music.
  3. no one’s gonna love you- band of horses(2007), Cease to begin
    -Band of hos always create a kind f dreamy atmosphere in their songs. They are easy to listen to and absolutely enjoyable.
  4. we tried- the drums(2010),The Drums
           -the drums are just cult.
  1. lazy eye- silversun pickups(2006),Carnavas
          They weren’t really well known a while ago, so they was like a special little treasure.This  
            song is used on several tv shows and video games

    -It was first established in Bertolt Brecht’s “hauspostille” in 1927 and was recorded by the doors in 1966. They changed the line “show me the way to the next pretty boy” to “show me the way to the little girl”
  2. where is my mind- pixies(1988),surfer rosa
    -is in the soundtrack of “fight club”and was also used in many other movies. It was rated as the 29th hottest song of all times by the australian radio station Triple J.
  3. 9 crimes- damien rice(2006),9
    was played on robert enke’s funeral, a great soccer player who killed himself. Also used in shrek and CSI:NY.
  4. crazy- gnarls barkley(2006), St.Elsewhere
    It became a top ten hit in Australia, Europe, and North-america. 9 month after it was released, the band decided to remove it from british stores, so people would not get sick of it and keep it in good memory.
  5. Imagine- John Lennon(1971), Imagine
    it’s ranked as the 3rd best song ever and won a Grammy hall Of Fame Award. It’s a really strong message surrounded by a beautiful melody
